As a request, I was asked to write this for a friend- who loves summer nights, much like I do... Enjoy

Sun dips,

Color drips,

Painting the sky red
Day fades

with starry braids

forming overhead
A summer night

the moon takes flight

with elegance and grace
stars dance

to a sweet romance

and vanish without a trace
soft air,

without a care,

perfection in simplest form
sweet sounds to hear,

nothing to fear,

cuddled safe and warm
alas this night will fade away,

dark will turn back to day

and life will carry on
so don't forget that summer night

and how the moon shines so bright

and welcome in the dawn

Pop-Princess Ally-Cat

This one was written as I was looking at an ornament that K-9, another blogger gave me. It was pink, glittered, and gave me a set of mixed thoughts. I realized as I looked at the beautiful cat you could see her two different ways: A strange, abnormal, alien design, or a orignal, beautiful, festive cat. And it made me think everyone goes through a period in which they aren't really what they see. It isn't really a bad thing, just trying to find out who you are. So you try different faces, different personalities, but nothing really fits. Anyway, that's the story behing Pop-princess Ally-cat!

Pop-Princess Ally-cat,

glamour on the outside

rugged on the in

where fun and loss mingle

the dance shall never end

living in the spotlight

while reveling in the dark

reserved as an owl

yet bites like a shark

apathy's her cover,

while empathy's her trait

the life she lives is a lie

alas it is her fate

I lie awake and see the stars

they laugh and glitter from afar

dancing and winking forever in flight

eternally shining, such a beautiful sight

giving guidence in the darkest hour

only in the black do you see their power

these rays of hope I'll never forget

for they are the reason I await sunset

these twinkling diamonds from above

full of laughter, and abundent with love
